Infographic – A Statistical Profile of Fortune 100 CMOs
February 5 2017
What does it take to become CMO of a Fortune 100 company? The answer may surprise you. The following infographic presents highlights from a study we did on chief marketing officers at Fortune 100 companies. It includes data that ranges from where they went to college to how long they've held their positions.
As you'll see, the average Fortune 100 CMO isn't your stereotypical C-suite executive; very few are Ivy Leaguers, many are dedicated company lifers and a good number belong to demographic groups that aren't usually associated with company boardrooms.
